about links, images, and clips

1. Because this blog is a personal journal based on a personal collection, I’ve chosen to limit my use of images from elsewhere on the Web. (Plus which, sometimes it’s nice to avoid issues of copyright, provenance, permissions, and takedowns.) Accordingly, unless otherwise noted, all images are photographed by me, Diane Patrick.

2. Because I believe that artists should be paid for the use of their works, any links, audio, or video clips appearing in this blog will, to the best of my knowledge and ability, be from/to the artist’s official site(s) or a site where their work can officially be purchased with royalties or payment going to them. If you are an artist and find such a link that does not meet this criteria, I invite you to inform me and I will be happy to remove it forthwith.

Happy reading!

I don’t even have the time to immerse myself in your commentary today, but I’m hyped and looking forward. Music was my first love (right after my parents) and I recently promised myself that I must do more to enjoy it more often…in ALL its forms (over the airwaves, via other digital sources, via analog(!), or via my own warbling/keyboard/harmonica/percussion efforts. It is NECESSARY to help maintain good mental and emotional health, and I am amazed I haven’t kept it at the center of my life, lately, as I once did. See? Already you’ve helped boost the Universal energy with your efforts! Peace & love, Janell
