It’s summer! It’s hot as hell here in New York City! But for some of us, summer is a precious little break from our other stuff when we can steal a slice of time to nurture–or at least listen to–our own muses. I was inspired by these New York Times essays about just that, from our brothers and sisters in the world of classical music.
I’ve always loved classical music, even though I can’t identify the tunes, musicians, composers, or categories; it’s the mood that the music sets.
